Frank Sotonoma Salsedo, a Klamath Indian, is a journalist and a movie actor.
The location is a Crow Indian reservation and Frank was asked to ride in their
annual parade. While he was filming a movie with Raquel Welch, portraying an
aging Sioux warrior named Many Scalps, I asked if I could photograph him for as
a model for a painting. He was most obliging."
