Hi again ............ this folk art looking thing was used to make parts in a casting factory .... it measures ..... 21 inches ... by ... 12 inches ....... special in a mans toilet / restroom
just something different to hang on the wall ....... it is pretty cool ..... about 1 1/4 inches thick ...... a sand mold for some small parts ...... the old paper label was still on and i have left it on ...... right out of the barn near indianapolis .........
there are 2 metal pieces on my wood ...... both were to have held pins for a larger press ....... these might be handles
my primitive can also be made into a sign ...... even for the family bar
but i like it just as it is ...... and it is still dirty , showing a lot of wear ....... might have been for making hinges

they can remain here , warm and dry .......... , safe and sound till you can come for them ...... some things available are just not to be trusted being shipped ...... perhaps just too large ...... or too heavy ........ and sometimes to fragile or delicate ..... we specialize in glass , oil paintings , and art pottery , .......... and some flea market junque on hand as well ...... lol
as far as shipping goes , that is just what we will charge you to ship the item ..... no hidden extras , no packing or materials fee ......... usually the post office and sometimes ups ......and sometimes the shipping calculator is way off the mark ............. , it simply depends on where you live ...... items going overseas naturally cost more to ship than those that stay in the states ..... a toy or a tool .... something for the bathroom , or a children's book , whatever ..... we are always willing to send it slower and save you money ...... always glad to combine purchases as well ......
shipping is the cost to your home only .......... we will also no longer charge for insurance ...... but all items will STILL BE insured by us , as we will pay for it on our end ....... have no fear ..... and again , all packing materials , wrapping tissue , paper , bubble wrap and boxes are free ....... we re-cycle almost everything anyway and my brother Jon gets about 98% or 99% of his packages delivered to the customer in perfect condition ......... " having said that , UPS once broke our cast iron kitchen skillet " ....... so you never know ..... heh heh
